How it works

We offer our consignors a safe, convenient and practical way to sell your furniture that no longer fits your needs.  No strangers in your house or worrying about setting up appointments for showings.

We pick-up your furniture, bring it to our showroom, professionally merchandise, photograph,  and advertise it for the world to see.  Here’s how it works:

  • First, get your consignment piece(s) accepted by sending us a picture via text to (225) 333-8954 and giving us some general information about it (purchase price, brand or manufacturer, age, condition, etc.)
  • Second, let us know what amount of money you are expecting to get for your piece. We will then factor in how similar items have sold and come to a mutually agreed upon price.
  • Third, let us know when we can come pick it up (that’s right, pick up is free when you consign with us)
  • We take care of the rest… just sit back and wait for your check to arrive.

  • Come on in and take a look around. If you find something you like – go ahead and buy it now — because things move fast in this place.
  • Once you choose your item, you can pay for it and take it home with you the same day.
  • Then check back often either in person or on our Facebook page – we have inventory being added and sold off the floor daily.

Terms of Consignment

  • We offer a 90 day consignment period. After 101 days on the sales floor, the consignor has the option to retrieve the item, or C’est Bon will arrange for it to be donated to a local charity.
  • Markdown schedule: every 30 days (up to a maximum of 90 days) your item(s) will be reduced by 10%. Day 101 your item will then be reduced to 50% of original selling price.
  • Consignor Split Percentages: C’est Bon pays the consignor 50% of the item’s sale price
  •  Although we try our best to provide a secure environment for your merchandise, the items remain your property until they sell or 100 days pass, after which all items become the property of C’est Bon. You must provide any desired insurance coverage for fire, theft, damage or other losses through your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance.
